Our quality

Highest quality standards
For four generations, the Friesian family of bakers Van der Meulen has dedicated itself with heart and soul to one goal: making delicious bakery products of master baker quality, with complete devotion to the profession. In order to guarantee the quality and food safety, Van der Meulen has obtained various quality certificates:

BRC(British Retail Consortium)
GMP(Good Manufacturing/Managing Practice)
IFS(International Food Standard)
SKAL(The inspection and certification body for organic production in the Netherlands)

In the execution of its operational activities, Van der Meulen ensures, among other things, the quality and food safety of its bakery products. Van der Meulen’s policy, when executing and maintaining its operational activities, is aimed at giving high priority to the maintenance and continual improvement of a care system for the benefit of the quality.

Quality care system
The internal care system is continually evaluated for affectivity by means of regular audits, which can lead to measures for improving this care system. At least once a year, the results of the audits are evaluated in order to deduce structural measures for the improvement of the care system.
